The benefit payable under a personal insurance covering a number of specified critical illnesses is DKK 75650 or DKK 151300, depending on the sum insured you have chosen. The benefit will be paid as a lump sum so that the entire amount is at your disposal immediately.

Who can take out the insurance?
Everybody between the ages of 18 and 50 can take out the insurance. To be eligible for cover, all you have to do is save up at least DKK 3000 or DKK 6000 with us each year, depending on the sum insured you have chosen, and provide sufficient evidence for us to conclude that your state of health is satisfactory.

The insurance pays a lump sum after the waiting period of one month.

What is critical illness?
As the insurance does not pay benefits in case of death, it is always a good idea to take out life insurance, as well. Some of the illnesses covered by the insurance are

  • certain types of cancer
  • coronary thrombosis (heart attack)
  • cerebral thrombosis or cerebral haemorrhage (stroke)
  • major organ transplant
  • spinal muscular atrophy
  • disseminated sclerosis
  • chronic kidney failure.
