Danica Life limited was established in 2008 as a wholly-owned Danish subsidiary of Danica Pension. The company offers pension and investment products as well as life insurance for the Irish personal market, and the products are sold through the National Irish Bank, the Irish-based branch of Danske Bank.

Organisation
The company is headed by Richard Lavelle and currently has seven employees based in Dublin’s financial services centre, IFSC.

Close cooperation and extensive knowledge sharing between all companies in the Danica Group provide Danica Life with strong synergies and ensure ongoing product development.

Products
The products are based on Danish market products, and the aim is to provide high quality service and foster innovation within pensions and investment in the Irish market. The products and systems of Danica Pension, which are well-known and thoroughly tested in Denmark, offer promising opportunities in this respect.

The product Danica Balance makes Danica Life the leading provider of life-cycle products in Ireland. The product is based on the Danish Danica Balance product.

The online pension solution Danica eLife also makes Danica Life the leading provider of electronic customer service solutions in the Irish market. Danica eLife is based on the Danish solution, "Din Netpension" (online access to pension and insurance schemes via the customer’s eBanking solution).Read more about Danica Life
