If you die prematurelyIf you die prematurely

When you think about what will happen to your family if you die at a young age, it is a good idea to be on the safe side by taking out life insurance and making a will. Your life insurance protects your family financially, and if you make a will, you control what happens with your money and belongings after you die.

Planning ahead
It may be a good idea to plan your family’s financial future if you die before you retire. You are always welcome to contact us if you have any doubts about how your dependents are protected or if you want to make any changes to your pension scheme.

Life insurance
Your life insurance provides an income for your nearest relatives if you die prematurely. That may give them a chance of continuing their lives in a safe and familiar environment when you are no longer around. They may decide to stay in the house or keep the car. It is up to you to decide who will receive the money after your death, and you can later change the beneficiaries on your life policy.

Reliable pension
You can typically take out an insurance policy that offers your dependents the rest of your pension payouts as a lump sum or as a regular income over an agreed period of time. Contact us for advice on the type of insurance that best suits your needs.

Will
If you are married, your spouse will automatically inherit half of your money. But you should be aware that your money will not automatically go to your cohabitant if you are not married. In that case, your children will inherit everything. This means that your cohabitant - and the children - cannot stay in your joint home because the children must receive their entitlement. To prevent your children from inheriting everything, you can draw up a will in which you state the names of your intended beneficiaries.
